Chicago is a Americna rock band formed in 1967 originating from ((Youve guessed it)) Chicago, Illinois. They were once called the Chicago Transit Authority in 1968 before shortening their name in 1969. They have self described themselves as Rock and Roll with aspects of  Classical, Jazz, R&B and Pop music. They began their career with politically lyrics before changing their image to a more softer sound. They have been ranked on Billboard at number 13 in a list of top 100 artists of all time.

Chicago are joined by Rick Springfield at the PNC Bank Arts Center. He is a austrailian born musician and actor, rose to fame with the pop rock group Zoot before going solo in 1971.
